UPDATE: as of December 9th, La Pupusa Guanaca is back open!
HYDE SQUARE -- In a major blow to this otherwise thriving corner of JP, La Pupusa Guanaca was seized by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue sometime between December 5th (last time I saw it open) and 7th (when I first noticed the notices pictured below). As the reviews linked above attest, this was a great cheap place to eat. We can only hope that they are able to resolve their issues with the DOR, though
This property has been seized for nonpayment of taxes and is now in the possession of the Commonwealth of Massachusettsdoes sound pretty final.
